Explore Our WorkDaniel Kim is the founder of Eightpine, an innovation lab and technology advisory based in Las Vegas, Nevada. A graduate of Boston University's Questrom School of Business, Daniel began his career in institutional banking at BNP Paribas and State Street before moving to the frontier of fintech and digital assets — where he helped lead the growth and launch of two of the first three regulated crypto exchanges to receive a New York State Trust Charter, one of which is now publicly traded at a multi-billion dollar valuation.
Daniel went on to lead the growth and launch of a YC 100 technology company through a Series B raise of over $25M, and led the growth and development of the first institutionally focused decentralized lending platform — originating over $1.5 billion in loans within its first year. He became a partner at one of the largest Asia-based blockchain-focused venture capital firms, leading US investments. Daniel went on to found Volta Circuit / AtPar, a fintech company, and separately launched a proprietary trading and research firm. Eightpine brings together that depth of experience across banking, venture, and technology to help companies build, modernize, and compete.
